# Useful Punto Switcher, or one more way to save time

The wonderful [Punto Switcher](http://punto.ru/), which switches your keyboard layout automatically, has one more useful feature: **AutoReplace** (Settings → AutoReplace). It lets you **set short letter combinations for phrases you use often**, or even for whole sentences.

I already have a whole list, for example:

- СУВ is my email sign-off, "С уважением, Станислав Паршин" ("Kind regards, Stanislav Parshin")
- АДР is my home address

plus my phone number (ТЕЛ), two email addresses and a few more names I use a lot when keeping the books in 1C, the accounting software.

1. I use capital letters for the codes, so that I never type them by accident in ordinary text.
2. When I do type the capitals, Punto offers the replacement: the coded phrase pops up, and pressing **space** or **Enter** puts it into the text.
