# This game never ends

You think: once I sort out my work...

Forget it! Drop it! You can't sort out your work!

At last it's sinking in, the thing I've read about for years: carpe diem and all that, "every minute", "enjoy the moment"... And also that there's no future and no past, there's only the present, because only the present will always be with you.

Hugh MacLeod, in his [new (highly recommended!) little book](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1591843847), quotes the film director David Mackenzie:

> "It doesn't get any easier. It doesn't matter how much money or how many awards your last film brought in... The pressure to not be shit never stops. All you can do is decide how to live with it..."
