# Website idea: selling off banks' collateral

Given that, if [Investgazeta](http://www.investgazeta.net/?p=news\&news_id=26587), a Ukrainian business weekly, is to be believed:

> ...the real situation, confirmed by reliable sources, shows that the banks have accumulated a huge amount (UAH 700 billion) of unrepaid loans, and therefore of property that has to be sold off, turning goods into money...

the thought comes to mind of helping the Ukrainian banking system get rid of its looted, heavy burden of pledged property. For example, you could sign an agreement with the biggest banks to regularly "leak" their offers for the sale of collateral to you, and build some kind of aggregator site for sale listings around it.
