I’m quoting a note by an acquaintance of mine who wished to remain anonymous. Just in case.
Instead of contributions to the social funds, they came up with a promising Single Social Contribution. You believed it’s single? How naive!
[He goes on: the “single” contribution is still three payments, one for the entrepreneur and two for each employee, due with every salary, which the Labor Code says must be paid at least twice a month; the yearly report on workplace accidents stays, and new ones arrive, with a reworked income-tax form or two; the law ties the contribution to “the types of activity listed in the registration certificate”, which lists none; you owe it on civil contracts too; the tax office may now inspect without warning on a tip from any state or local body, “one call to a friend”; and from April 1 (funny, right?) a man who collected milk from villagers for a dairy must keep full books or give up. He’d write it all up with quotes, he says, but he has to run off and file reports, fill in his ledger and pay taxes, being an entrepreneur on the simplified system, after all.]
I can’t say I agree with him 100%, but freedom of speech has to be supported…
